
State President – Tyler Treptow-Bowman, Ed.D.

Tyler Treptow-Bowman has previously served as the WSU Campus ASF President from 2018-2020 and has been the Lead Negotiator from WSU since 2020. They have actively participated in state and local Meet & Confers for each respective role. Tyler previously worked as a coordinator in the WSU Office of Equity & Inclusive Excellence from 2017-2023, and since starting at WSU has engaged in service on various all-university committees and more recently as a member of the Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship Board. They also have experience in admissions and student housing. Tyler has been a member of MSUAASF since 2017. They hold a B.A. in Communication Studies, minoring in Music, from Winona State University (2014), an M.S.E. in Higher Education Administration with emphases in Higher Ed Law, Higher Ed Finance, and Social Inequity from the University of Kansas (2016), and an Ed.D. with emphases in Multicultural Education and Change Management from Winona State University (2024).

State Vice President – Marie Slotemaker, MS

Marie Slotemaker is currently serving in the role of Minnesota State University Mankato’s ASF Past President and is an active member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato ASF Meet and Confer team. Previously, Marie has served at MSU, Mankato in the roles of local ASF President (2022-2024), President-Elect (2021-2022) and Treasurer (2018-2021). Marie previously worked in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology and TRiO Student Support Services. Marie has been a member of ASF since 2006, is a two-time alumna of MSU, Mankato where she earned a MS in Counseling and Student Personnel and a BS in Corrections.

State Treasurer – Ellie Ahmann, MS

Ellie Ahmann has been an ASF member since 2020. She currently serves as SMSU’s lead negotiator for ASF contract negotiations; she was also SMSU’s lead negotiator on the 2023-25 ASF negotiations team. Prior to her time at SMSU, Ellie worked in student advising at Arizona State and admissions at Northern Arizona University. She received her BA in psychology from CSB/SJU, and her MS in Student Affairs Administration from UW – La Crosse.
Cindy Boe began as an ASF member in 2009, with previous experience serving as a membership coordinator and member of the campus Meet & Confer team. She’s worked at Bemidji State University for five years, transitioning from career development to recruitment event services in 2025. Cindy has 17 years of experience in Minnesota higher education and grew up in a union labor family.
